“Windrush” is hull #95 of the Eastbay series by Grand Banks Yachts. The raised helmdeck area is the heart of the vessel underway and at anchor.   The “L” settee and pedestal mounted teak table comfortably seats a group.  Underway, the Companion Pompanette seat gives the navigator a comfortable bird’s eye view of the waterway.   An opening center windshield, overhead hatches, side windows and enclosure provide all the fresh air anyone might like. The helm features a varnished teak faced navigation station, teak and stainless steel wheel, and a Pompanette adjustable Captain’s seat.

The helmdeck’s centered companionway with sliding hatch and locking double doors secures the interior of the vessel. Below, the galley is to port, dinette to starboard. The dinette includes a high-lo table which additionally converts to an additional berth. The galley features Corian counters, Princess 3 burner propane stove with oven, Sharp microwave, under counter refrigerator and a separate freezer. Forward, the head is to port and has a shower, sink and a freshwater VacuFlush toilet. The stateroom is in the bow and offers a V-berth with generous storage. Teak and holly soles, satin varnish finish cabinetry with gloss trim accents are thoughout the interior. On deck the teak cockpit is deep, large and with a molded aft facing seat, storage and 3 large lazaretto lockers. Side decks are wide with an extended stainless rail for easy passage around the boat.
